Support for the Whole Family

Children, Parenting and Families Counselling

Parenting and family life bring some of the greatest joys, and some of the hardest challenges. Whether you're navigating a difficult season as a parent, working through family conflict, or adjusting to a big change together, I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space to help your family find its footing.

Signs Your Family Might Benefit From Support

Family and parenting difficulties can show up in different ways, some common signs include:

Ongoing conflict or tension within the family

Feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to parent through a difficult stage

Communication breakdowns between parents, or between parents and children

Difficulty adjusting to a major family change (separation, a new baby, blending families, relocation)

Parenting stress affecting your own mental health or wellbeing

Feeling disconnected from your child or partner amid the busyness of family life

Navigating a child's behavioural or emotional difficulties as a parent

Wherever your family is at, support is available, for you individually as a parent, or as part of working through family dynamics together.

About Family & Parenting Support

Every family faces seasons of difficulty, and there's no single "right" way to parent or hold a family together through change. Support in this space isn't about being told what to do, it's about creating room to understand what's happening within your family, and finding an approach that works for your specific circumstances and values.

This support is primarily for parents, carers, and families navigating challenges together, whether that's processing your own stress and overwhelm as a parent, working through family conflict, or adjusting to significant change.

What Can Contribute to Family & Parenting Stress

  • Major life transitions (separation, divorce, blending families, a new baby)

  • Communication breakdowns within the family

  • Parenting stress, burnout, or feeling unsupported

  • Financial or work pressures affecting family life

  • A child or family member's mental health or behavioural challenges

  • Intergenerational patterns or past family experiences resurfacing

  • Balancing individual needs with the needs of the family as a whole

Understanding what's contributing to the strain is often an important part of finding a way through it, together.
