ABOUT
Fearless Footsteps
I’m Ursula Adams — qualified Social Worker, therapist, and founder of Fearless Footsteps.
With over 14 years of experience supporting individuals, youth, women, and couples across various sectors including mental health, domestic violence, trauma, and community services, I bring a deep commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and empowering space for healing and growth.

Our practice values confidentiality, respect, and empathy, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings.

MISSION
Empowering Lives
Fearless Footsteps was born from a personal journey of transformation and a passion for blending therapeutic support with the strength and grounding that nature, movement, and connection can bring. As a counsellor and coach, I work with individuals and couples to help them navigate life’s challenges, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their own sense of purpose, identity, and possibility.
I believe that every person holds the ability to move forward in life with courage — and sometimes we just need the right support to take that next step.
My therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and client-led. I work from a trauma-informed and humanistic lens, meaning I walk alongside you without judgment, honouring your lived experience and helping you reconnect with your own strengths and values.
I draw on a variety of evidence-based modalities to best support your goals, including:
-
Narrative Therapy – helping separate you from the problem and re-author your story
-
Solution-Focused Therapy – focusing on your preferred future and building on what works
-
Gottman and Emotion Focussed therapy approaches - to support couples in building stronger emotional bonds and effective communication.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – exploring the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
-
Mindfulness-Based Practices – supporting awareness, grounding, and emotional regulation
-
Strengths-Based Approach – highlighting what’s already strong, not what’s wrong
-
Psychoeducation – providing insights and tools to help you understand yourself better
Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, trauma, self-worth, grief and loss, relationship challenges, or simply need someone to talk to, my role is to support you with compassion, clarity, and hope.
